Information we handle
The website enquiry form collects a name, email address, optional organisation, requested review type and message. Engagement records may contain business contact details, identity and ownership information, declarations, signatures, registration evidence and correspondence, but only where relevant to the agreed onboarding criteria.
Do not send sensitive supplier records through the general enquiry form. We agree an appropriate transfer route after scoping.
Purposes and lawful basis
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, perform contracts, protect review integrity, maintain financial and legal records, and meet obligations under South African law including the Protection of Personal Information Act. Depending on context, processing is based on consent, contract, legal obligation or legitimate interests that do not override the person’s rights.
Sharing and operators
Information is limited to assigned personnel and service providers that support secure hosting, communication, storage or professional advice. Operators act under appropriate duties. We may disclose information when lawfully required or to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Unsuccessful enquiry records are normally retained for up to 12 months. Engagement records are kept for the period in the scope and thereafter only as required for legal, tax, insurance or dispute purposes. We apply access controls, secure transfer practices and deletion procedures appropriate to the records. No method is completely risk-free.
International transfers
Some carefully selected service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we assess the transfer and use contractual or other safeguards required by applicable law.
Your rights
Subject to lawful limits, you may request access, correction or deletion; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator. We may need to verify identity before acting and may retain information where law requires.
